Defence, Command, Control & Intelligent Applications
(Defence C2I)

ST Electronics plays an integral role in the defence industry through our provision of turnkey designs and implementation of both mobile and stationary Command & Control (C2) Centres. We develop and integrate the sophisticated decision support function, the intelligence information collection and collation functions, and the wireless communications function of the C2 system in the centres.

Ruggedised Systems

Launched since 1995, our Standard Operating Common Console (SOCC) has kept up with technological advancements, engaging the latest state-of-the-art switching and transmission technology to meet your dynamic needs today. Indeed, the new range of SOCCs is meticulously designed to operate in harsh surface ship and submarine environments for a wide range of sophisticated command and control (C2) applications. Stylish, rugged and modular, the new generation SOCC is also suitable for the engine room as well as bridge monitoring and control functions.

The new design takes into consideration both functionality and maintenance of the console. It is built on an advanced network architecture and is highly ruggedised, with a well laid-out processor module. It provides a superhighway network for weapon and sensor systems in the military platform to achieve operational survivability and redundancy. It has the full power of information-gathering and distribution with complete software support through object-oriented tools. At the same time, the 14-slot size with 12-slot PCI back plane of the processor module allows easy access and hassle-free card removal during maintenance. In addition, it is aesthetically stylish with an adjustable backlit keyboard and sleek console design.
